FourtyFive Free is free forever and includes 50 AI-marked checks per month plus the full personalisation algorithm. Academic Weapon (the Pro plan) is one monthly price, billed through Stripe, and you can cancel any time. Exact prices show in your local currency at the top of this page.

The main difference is volume and AI features. Free gives you a limited amount of AI-marked checks per month; Academic Weapon removes that limit. Academic Weapon also unlocks two AI features — AI Tutor Chat (live help while you're solving) and the ability to generate a fresh similar question with mark scheme on demand. The question bank, mark schemes, subjects, analytics and devices are identical on both plans.

An AI check is one submitted answer the AI Examiner marks for you — typed or handwritten. After a check you get a band-by-band score against the IB mark scheme, a worked solution and an updated topic mastery score in your Study Profile.

No. Plan checks reset on your monthly anniversary and don't roll over. Referral-bonus checks, if you've earned any, are banked separately and don't expire, so you can save them for mock-week.

Yes. Academic Weapon is a Stripe subscription you can cancel any time from your account settings — your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. You can downgrade to Free at the end of the period, or upgrade from Free to Pro instantly.

No. You can type your answers, handwrite them on an iPad with Apple Pencil, or use a USB writing tablet with any Mac, Windows or Chromebook laptop. The AI Examiner marks handwritten answers to the same IB mark scheme standard as typed answers.

All six FourtyFive subjects — Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA), Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (AI), Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics — are included at both SL and HL on every plan. You don't pay per subject.

FourtyFive bundles AI marking, AI tutoring, personalised IB recommendations and a 4,000+ question bank into one subscription. Most competitors charge separately for question banks, video courses or tutoring, and a single hour with a human tutor typically costs more than a month of Academic Weapon.

Yes. Any plan you start gives you continuous access through your mocks and your real IB exams (May or November session) as long as the subscription remains active. The personalisation algorithm gets more accurate the longer you use it, so starting earlier in DP1 or DP2 generally produces stronger recommendations by exam season.
