Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of FourtyFive, at fourtyfive.org and app.fourtyfive.org. Please read section 2 carefully if you are under 18, and section 6 before you rely on anything our AI tells you.
1. Who we are
FourtyFive is operated by <
2. Your age, and who is agreeing to this
If you are under 18 you cannot agree to these terms yourself. A parent or guardian has to read them, agree to them, and pay for any subscription. Where that happens, the parent or guardian is the person contracting with us and is responsible for the account.
By starting a paid plan you confirm you are 18 or over, or that a parent or guardian has agreed and is paying.
If you are in the EU and under 16, we need a parent or guardian's consent before we can process your personal data at all. See our Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a code we send you. There is no password. Keep access to that inbox secure, and tell us if someone else gets into your account.
One account per person. Do not share it.
4. What FourtyFive is, and what it is not
FourtyFive is a software subscription. You use it on your own to practise IB-style questions, get AI marking and feedback, and see which topics need work.
It is not tuition, a course, a school, or a training programme. There is no live teaching, no timetable, no enrolment, no certificate and no qualification. Nobody assesses you on behalf of any awarding body. It is a tool you use by yourself.
5. Plans, prices and renewal
There is a Free plan and a paid plan called Academic Weapon. Current prices are shown on our pricing page in your currency, and the total you will be charged is shown before you confirm.
Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Plan and billing in the app. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep Academic Weapon until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We can change prices, but never in the middle of a period you have paid for, and we will tell you first.
6. AI output is an estimate
Marking, feedback, worked solutions, generated questions, mastery scores and your predicted grade are all produced by AI.
They are estimates. A predicted grade is not a prediction of your real IB result and no part of FourtyFive is an official IB result or an official mark. AI gets things wrong. Use it with judgement, and tell us when marking looks wrong using the thumbs control on any marked answer. We read those.
We do not guarantee any grade, any improvement, or any outcome.
7. What you agree not to do
Do not scrape or bulk export questions, mark schemes or any other content. Do not resell or share access. Do not use FourtyFive to build a competing question bank. Do not try to extract our prompts or run automated requests at scale.
8. Content and your answers
The question bank, mark schemes, topic summaries and the software are owned by us or licensed to us.
Your answers stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them so we can mark them, build your mastery profile, and improve how the service works.
9. The IB
FourtyFive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization. “International Baccalaureate” and “IB” are registered trademarks of the IBO. We use those names only to describe the qualification our software helps you revise for.
10. The service is still being built
FourtyFive is in active development. We do not promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and features can change or be withdrawn. Where something on our website is described as coming, it is not available yet.
11. Ending this agreement
You can stop using FourtyFive at any time and close your account from the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.
12. Our liability
Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing here removes the statutory rights you have as a consumer in the UK, the EU or anywhere else those rights apply.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim there.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will post a new version here with a new date, and we will tell you before any material change takes effect.
