We use a small number of cookies. The ones that are not strictly necessary only run if you accept them, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
1. What this covers
Cookies and similar storage on fourtyfive.org, and local storage used by the app at app.fourtyfive.org.
2. Your choice
The first time you visit we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential runs before you answer.
Declining is a real option. The site works the same either way and we do not ask again on every page.
3. Strictly necessary
These run without consent because the site cannot work without them: keeping you signed in, security, spreading traffic across servers, and remembering the cookie choice you just made.
4. Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept, we use HubSpot and Amplitude to understand which pages people read and where they get stuck. We use this to improve the product. It is not used to build advertising profiles.
5. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not use cross-site tracking. We do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not profile under-18s for marketing.
6. Changing your mind
Reopen the cookie banner from the link in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser settings. Clearing them also clears the record of your choice, so we will ask again next time.
7. Changes
If we change this policy we will post a new version here with a new date.
